First and foremost, Sandhaven is an equestrian breeding operation, specializing in Australian Stock Horses.
Founded and managed by Kellee Campbell, an Austin veterinarian, every detail of the 105 acre breeding program and facility is meticulously managed, down to the 120 acres of natural habitat preservation.
Sandhaven’s landscape is also comprised of a 120 acre wildlife management program.
This region of the property contains very unique geological formations and its own unique wildlife habitat.
Access is forbidden by vehicle, but welcomed by foot, bike, or horseback.
Sandhaven has not only become a favorite stop for equestrians, but also for bird watchers, wildlife fans, and professors/students studying the natural diversity of the region.
